Take Control Over SPAM

 

TSTC Student Email Server now features DSPAM, a dynamic way for users to control the content of email coming into their accounts.  You decide what to keep and what to trash.  To start using the service follow the instructions on this page.

 

Log in to the DSPAM service with your email address for your username:

When you click on the DSPAM Link you will get an authentication box.

 

 

Put in your email address for the username and your universal password in the password field.

You will see a screen like the one shown below:

 

Your first stop should be the Preferences Tab

Make sure the screen looks just like this one:

 

and click the submit changes button.

This should make sure the filter is active for your account.

 

There is a History Tab where you will check mail to mark it as SPAM or innocent mail.

 

If you find a message that came through that you consider SPAM, click on the Message Retrain and mark it as Innocent or as SPAM.

If a message does get quarantined as SPAM you can still have it delivered by checking the Quarantined tab and have the system go ahead and deliver it.

 

Simply check the messages you want delivered and deliver or delete.
